This wonderful scenic highway takes you through the Snowy Mountains. Day trips from Jindabyne on the Alpine Way are very popular, a favourite being Thredbo, where you can stop for a ride on a chairlift to the top of Mt. Kosciuszko, Australia's highest mountain.
